Robert Williams

Robert Williams is a Birmingham Unitarian who grew up in the rural Black Belt region of Alabama during the 1940s and 1950s and observed or experienced all of the major events of the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama, including the Montgomery bus boycott and the final Selma-to-Montgomery march in March 1965. In recent years, he has done extensive genealogical/DNA research that has provided scientific evidence of his own substantial European ancestry, helping to reveal that “we are all one race.”
