Robert Williams

Robert Williams is a Birmingham Unitarian who grew up in the rural Black Belt region of Alabama during the 1940s and 1950s; he observed or experienced all of the major events of the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama, including the Montgomery bus boycott and the final Selma-to-Montgomery march in March 1965. In recent years, he has done extensive genealogical/DNA research that has provided scientific evidence of his own substantial European ancestry, helping to reveal that “we are all one race.”
