Lula Moon

Lula Moon, the daughter of a Birmingham Unitarian, walked from Selma to Montgomery as part of the 2015 50th anniversary of the original voting-rights march from March 21 to March 25, 1965. She describes the experience of the reenactment of the various parts of the march and the joy, at the end of the march, of seeing the daughters of George Wallace and Martin Luther King, Jr., embracing on the steps of the Alabama Capitol.
